Focusing Everything on AI

Constellation's next chapter.

Over the past year we moved deliberately to put Constellation at the center of AI. We combined with AIAI Holdings, now a public company, and we launched our platform, Constellation Gate AI. Since day one our purpose has been data integrity, and we built a decentralized network to deliver it. Today I want to share the next step in that story so you have a clear view of where we are going and why.

A sharper focus, by conviction

For much of our history we backed many products and many directions at once. That breadth reflected ambition, but it also spread our energy thin. The companies that win this decade will be the ones with conviction: a clear sense of the one place they can lead, and the discipline to put everything behind it. We have found ours. We are focusing the entire network on AI, and on the work our infrastructure was built to do: AI auditability, governance, and crowdsourced compute and inference. This is us putting our full weight behind the biggest opportunity in front of us.

Where the value is moving

The market for AI compute and inference is projected at roughly $109 billion today, scaling toward $500 billion within four years. That is where the demand of the next decade is heading, and our network of operators and our experience processing data at scale are built for exactly this. So we are extending Constellation Gate AI directly into it: opening the network to GPUs and giving operators a new, higher-value job. Contribute compute to run AI, and earn DAG for the work you deliver.

Constellation is building an AI inference network that connects into Gate AI, and the GPUs that serve it are paid in DAG for the compute they provide.

What is changing, and what stays

Let me be direct about the mechanics, because you deserve specifics. The core of the network stays as it is. The network you know keeps running, and it gets sharper. We are moving to a leaner, more competitive validator model, where the community chooses the active validators through delegation, and we are opening a new role for operators running GPUs. Emissions get tighter, and snapshot fees increasingly reflect real work performed rather than issuance alone, so the rewards flowing through the network map to genuine value created. Over the coming weeks we will work directly with the Stardust Collective to shape this alongside the community.

Streamlining what we support

Focus also means being clear about what we set down. We are concentrating our efforts by shutting down Pacaswap, Lattice, and adjusting the network for the next phase. Across the industry, teams are moving the same way, away from standalone DeFi and toward where builders and users are actually heading. That decision reduces complexity, sharpens our focus, and makes room for a market growing far faster than anything we would leave behind. Our time, and yours, is best spent where value is genuinely moving.

Why this, and why now

Most of the blockchain industry is still searching for its role in the AI era. We already have one. Constellation was built for data integrity, and integrity, the verification and provenance that let people trust what a machine produced, is exactly what an AI-driven world will demand more of every year. By focusing the network on AI inference and extending Constellation Gate AI into it, we meet that demand with infrastructure we already have and expertise we have spent years building. We are not waiting for the future to arrive. We are building for it now.

Over the next several days we will share the concrete steps: for operators, for the community, release dates/products and for how you take part. I am genuinely excited about this chapter. This realignment was overdue, and it is the right one. A sharper Constellation, aimed squarely at where the world is going. The best chapter starts now, and I am grateful to be building it with you.

Onward,

Ben Jorgensen · CEO, Constellation Network
